- Offer available until end of August
- “We are delighted to partner with the R66T Academy, the gold standard in high-quality cricket coaching, to offer discounted programs in the finer aspects of cricketing to the enthusiasts from any part of the world”, says InstaReM founder
A Singaporean money transfer service has announced it will offer its users a discount on fees at a leading cricket academy.
InstaReM, which is known for being a major name in the international money transfers sphere, has partnered with The Root Academy, which is also known as The R66T Academy and which was set up by Joe Root, the English Test Cricket captain.
Users who send their first remittance before August 31st of this year will be able to claim a 30% discount on the training campus costs for The R66T Academy.
The offer applies to customers anywhere in the world, and both children and adults are able to participate in the discounted offer.
The CEO and founder of InstaReM, Prajit Nanu, said that the firm was “delighted” with the development.
“As a global payments fintech with a global presence, we are delighted to partner with the R66T Academy, the gold standard in high-quality cricket coaching, to offer discounted programs in the finer aspects of cricketing to the enthusiasts from any part of the world”, he said.
Joe Root, who set up the Academy and who has recently captained England’s World Cup team, added that the partnership would “change the game”.
“We are pleased to partner with InstaReM Money Transfer to offer an exclusive discount on our cricket training camps”, he said.
“The Root Academy is our commitment to unlocking the cricketing talent of tomorrow. Alongside InstaReM, we aim to reach even more cricket fans around the world, offering high-class learning experiences that change the game. We’re up to change the game with InstaReM and the Root Academy.”
InstaReM is a relatively new firm, which was founded in 2014. According to its website, it is responsible for remittances to well over three billion people.
This incentive for new sign-ups is a smart move from InstaReM. Not only is it timely, given the recent excitement generated around the Cricket World Cup. It’s also tactical. Countries in which cricket is popular are also some of the world’s biggest hotspots for remittances. India, for example, is responsible for the most remittances of anywhere in the world, with those who have moved away from the South Asian country transferring $80 billion per year back to the country. By tying a much-loved pastime to a sign-up incentive system, InstaReM’s decision is likely to start receiving even more customers from key target markets to its services.
InstaReM and other firms in this sector are working hard to provide customers with cross-border payments deals which fit their needs. Learn more about what’s happening at our news page.
