Data Scientists (New York and London)

FXcompared Intelligence is our research and insights division. We are looking for full-time Data Scientists to be responsible for analysis and presentation of our data.

Role will include

  • Analyze data to answer business questions and produce data-driven stories that reveal key insights into behavior, in particular using data visualization
  • Normalizing various forms of data. Populating SQL tables from scraped data.
  • Collation of data from external sources

Data Quality Manager (New York)

We are looking for a rock star Data Quality Manager to report directly to our CTO and manage the people, processes and technologies involved with collecting a wide variety of data feeds from a multitude of sources.

Responsibilities

- Work with key stakeholders to create an organization and tracking system for our tens of thousands of data feeds.

- Define, publish and manage the execution of a Data Roadmap document that plans data source integrations over time.

- Oversee the process of researching new data feeds. Write specifications for the ingestion of these feeds.

- Manage onshore and offshore resources in the creation of data collection processes including ETL and Web scraping.

- Build and manage a human resource requirements plan to scale teams up and down as needed based on work loads.

- Create and oversee a Data Quality assessment framework, processes, policies and procedures. Establish procedures for data profiling, data quality assessment, and key quality indicators. Define quality rules.

- Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data

- Define the requirements for data quality metrics and manage the process of creating data quality dashboards.

- Participate in data quality investigation and root cause analysis

- Own business metadata and terminology documents

- Continually drive improvements to the existing operations processes, reporting and delivery methods through effective usage of data quality processes and framework.

- Set, communicate and manage project expectations / defining success criteria with stakeholders

Data Engineer / Python Developer (New York)

The Data Engineer will be part of our engineering team with a special emphasis on data management. The ideal candidate has software development experience and is well versed with various data warehousing solutions technologies.

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for ETL (extract, transform, load) processes
  • Build tools in Python to help end users access and process their data more efficiently

Conversion Marketing Manager (New York)

The Conversion Manager will own conversion optimization at all points along the customer journey, including paid ads, landing pages, website lead generation, as well as the impact of PR and Content. The candidate will also be expected to implement simple ad campaigns, primarily SEM and Facebook including tracking parameters to enable clean measurement of data through to conversion.
