Sotheby’s is set to host a charitable watch auction this month, featuring suitcases filled with MoonSwatch watches.

This unique event, which will take place from 12 to 24 February, coincides with the next full moon.

The auction will showcase 11 MoonSwatch Moonshine Gold suitcases, each containing all 11 Omega x Swatch Mission to Moonshine Gold timepieces.

The original MoonSwatch collection, a collaboration between Omega and Swatch, garnered significant attention in March 2022, attracting large crowds and long lines.

Suitcases filled with MoonSwatch watches are set to be auctioned, providing a blend of space-inspired design and affordability.

These watches pay tribute to the iconic Omega Speedmaster design while showcasing Swatch’s distinctive bioceramic plastic case.

These exclusive special editions feature unique details for each month’s full moon.

High net-worth individuals (HNWIs) wishing to purchase luxury products such as collectable watches should use a safe money transfer service when making payments.

This unique collection features rare models that have never been offered together before.

With a lollipop design that pays homage to the iconic Speedmaster CK2998 watch from 1961, this auction is a must-see for any luxury timepiece aficionado.

The suitcases up for auction are one of a kind, each holding a unique coin engraved with the aviation code for its displayed city.

These special coins are accompanied by a golden monocle adorned with the iconic Omega x Swatch logo.

All proceeds from the auction will go to Orbis International, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to preventing avoidable blindness and vision loss globally. Orbis International’s work is vital, particularly in helping children gain access to eye care.

Omega, a partner of Orbis since 2011, expressed its support for the auction.

Before the auction, the suitcases will be on display at Omega stores in cities across the globe, including Tokyo, New York, London, Milan, Paris and Sydney, providing enthusiasts and collectors with a chance to see these extraordinary timepieces up close.

These unique timepieces are certain to attract HNWIs. These individuals should research international money transfer options, which can provide a secure way to make overseas payments.
