Xpress Money is taking the United Arab Emirate’s digital remittance space by storm. The brand recently announced a partnership with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), enabling the two companies to perform money transfer transactions for their clients. The transfers can be sent to or from 14 different countries. The collaboration has resulted in the availability of the service through ADCB’s mobile banking app and its website online.

In June 2018, Xpress Money also entered into another strategic partnership as it signed a partnership with RAKBANK allowing account holders of said bank to send remittances via the money transfer brand using their RAKBANK accounts or credit cards.

In a press release, Xpress Money noted that the move is to aid the UAE’s transformation into a cashless economy, noting that the brand is constantly working on partnerships with financial institutions in the country to get this done. The company has a unique platform called Xpress Money FLEX where banks can access the brand’s 200,000 agent locations in over 160 countries.

The Associate Vice President for Strategy & Digital at Xpress Money said: “This is great for customers as they can send money directly from their bank account using the bank’s mobile or web platform. It’s a win-win for banks and customers. At Xpress Money, we have always believed in redefining convenience for our customers; and collaboration with other financial institutions is surely a prudent way to do so.”

With the numerous international money transfer options out there, Xpress Money has added a new method for people wanting to send money from the UAE to the USA, or other vital destinations like the UK.
