  • Toyota has announced that it is ready to launch its latest luxury SUV, the 2024 Toyota Century.
  • Designed to cater for high-end customers, Toyota’s new SUV aims to set design standards matching the elegance of Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
  • The SUV is exclusive to the Japanese market, meaning that high net-worth individuals (HNWIs) must order and purchase the car overseas using a safe money transfer service.

Toyota has announced the launch of its new high-performance Century SUV, which aims to rival the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Bentley Bentayga with a combination of luxury performance, off-road capability, power and cutting-edge technology.

The SUV is currently listed on the Japanese market, meaning that global customers must purchase it from overseas and ship it to their desired location.

The luxury 4x4 has a $265,000 price tag and a total system power output of 303kW by using a V6 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain with a fuel capacity of 3.5 litres.

The luxury automobile market has been focusing on sustainability in the past few years, with Bentley and Rolls-Royce leading the way with their electric and hybrid luxury SUVs. BMW, Volvo, Land Rover and Porsche have also released luxury hybrid SUVs recently with customisable parts.

Lexus, another luxury car manufacturer, recently revealed its TX550h+ PHEV SUV, catering to various locations around the world. This has been released on the North American market, with opportunities for international customers to ship the SUV overseas.

International HNWIs wishing to purchase luxury cars on specific markets should explore safe international money transfer options when purchasing and shipping their items.

A Toyota spokesperson noted that the Century SUV can be fitted with a 9.5-inch gold bag under the tonneau board and customisable taillights are available on request.

Toyota also suggested that the luxury SUV aims to stay true to its sedan counterpart with its two-tone paint job and hopes to attract a variety of HNWI customers, with a total of seven different exterior paint colour combinations available.
