  • The two firms are expected to collaborate to improve customer experience when participating in the e-commerce sector in Southeast Asia.

PayerMax, a leading global payments solution in Singapore, has confirmed that it will be working with e-commerce software provider Shoplazza as part of a new push to improve customer experience.

PayerMax will offer Shoplazza clients its capacities for payment collection and global disbursement.

It will also provide fund management services through its dedicated matrix for that purpose and improve the service's security and efficiency.

The partnership reflects a push by the two firms to collaborate in a world of e-commerce changes and comes against a backdrop of large boosts to ecommerce and associated fast money transfer services in Southeast Asia. It is thought that sales in that region will likely go beyond $100bn US dollars in 2023.

"With a deep presence in emerging markets, PayerMax is working with a variety of local payment systems. In Indonesia, all mainstream local payment methods are supported by PayerMax and payment methods such as e-wallets and bank transfers are almost fully covered in Malaysia," said the company.

"At the same time, PayerMax has also obtained PCI-DSS certification and has a financial-grade risk control system to guarantee the safety of each fund and fully prevent transaction risks.
