  • Brightwell, a leading global payments firm based in Atlanta, has announced that it will be working with travel membership scheme inCruises on a new payments push to help enhance customer loyalty in the travel sector.
  • Brightwell will offer inCruises its ‘ReadyRemit’ platform, which is designed to help improve access to cross-border payments across more than 120 nations around the world.
  • “Because our partners live across the globe, we needed a cross-border payments platform that allowed the company to pay out commissions quickly while minimising foreign transaction fees,” said a spokesperson for inCruises.

Brightwell, a leading global payments and fast money transfer organisation, has confirmed that it will be partnering with inCruises, a travel membership programme.

The new relationship has come about as the result of a push to help people access better travel, the firms said.

Brightwell will offer inCruises its ‘ReadyRemit’ platform, which is designed to help improve access to cross-border payments across more than 120 nations around the world.

ReadyRemit is designed to improve access to payments functionality and improve the way that people transfer money. It has been launched at a time that coincides with boosted demand for travel and transport as the coronavirus pandemic comes to an end in many countries.

It also boosts client loyalty by offering functions for clients to receive cashback when they make money transfers or spend money in the travel sector.

Hal Ramakers, Senior Vice President at Brightwell, explained that ease of incorporation was important.

“As companies expand their global reach, we’re seeing an increased need for cross-border payment services that are easy to incorporate into client platforms,” he said.

“However, launching an international payments program is no small lift – ReadyRemit changes that by enabling easy and fast integration.”

For inCruises, meanwhile, Chief Financial Officer Anthony Varvaro said that international distribution of people meant it was important to ensure that commissions were paid fast.

“Because our partners live across the globe, we needed a cross-border payments platform that allowed the company to pay out commissions quickly while minimising foreign transaction fees,” said Varvaro.

“Managing the process internally became a burden to the team, so we turned to ReadyRemit because it gave us regulatory and licensing coverage to our priority corridors and integrated easily into our platform.”
