  • FLEETCOR, which is a major corporate name in the payment solutions space with a presence in more than 100 nations around the world, has picked up a smaller firm called Accrualify.
  • The move to acquire Accrualify, which offers automation services for accounts payable companies, will help FLEETCOR’s clients to improve what is known as the ‘procure to pay’ process.
  • “The Accrualify acquisition provides workflow and process automation software that AP departments are looking for, and rounds out our ‘process to execution’ AP payment solution set,” said a senior spokesperson for FLEETCOR.

FLEETCOR, a major global business payments company, has announced the acquisition of Accrualify, a provider in the accounts payable and online money transfer sector.

The move for Accrualify, which offers automation services for accounts payable companies, will help FLEETCOR’s clients to improve what is known as the ‘procure to pay’ process.

It is the latest in FLEETCOR’s push to build the payment solutions options that it holds in its collection of brands.

This process allows for automation to be introduced across the payments process, from the point of purchase to the end payment.

Ron Clarke, the chairman and chief executive officer of FLEETCOR, said that the acquisition of Accrualify will offer improved options for its clients.

“The Accrualify acquisition provides workflow and process automation software that AP departments are looking for, and rounds out our ‘process to execution’ AP payment solution set,” he said.

“We expect this capability to increase demand and revenue per client for our corporate payments product line.”

FLEETCOR provides payment and processing services in more than 100 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Accrualify, meanwhile, is known for providing firms at middling and enterprise levels the chance to automate more of their processes.

Its products improve efficiency and help with budgeting.
