  • Buckzy Payments, which is a Canadian provider of financial solutions and innovations for the international money transfer sector, has confirmed that it will work alongside Unimoni.
  • The new arrangement will see Unimoni able to tap into the lucrative US dollar market and open up new opportunities to do business.
  • “Buckzy has opened cross-border payments for us in Oman, since before this partnership, we were connected to a traditional model of corresponding banking relations,” said a senior figure at Unimoni.

Buckzy Payments, a major provider of financial solutions and international money transfers, has announced a new collaboration with Unimoni, which works across a range of customer interaction points such as shops and mobile phones.

Buckzy, which is based in Toronto, aims to improve global payments to speed them up and increase reliability around the world.

The new arrangement will see Unimoni able to access the US dollar market, which is a lucrative one for the firm.

Ultimately, this is expected to permit the company to operate in a range of new markets.

In a statement, a senior figure at Unimoni said that Buckzy offered Unimoni the chance to use an improved “financial network infrastructure”.

Boban Madamana Pailo, who serves as the company’s chief executive officer, said that its new partner company already had systems in place to help the sector.

“What attracted us to partner with Buckzy was the financial network infrastructure the organization has in place for the cross-border payment industry,” he said.

He added that the “single connectivity” that Unimoni had was a big plus point in the eyes of the business.

“The single connectivity for Unimoni to deliver real-time remittance and other cross-border real-time payment solutions was very appealing.”

He went on to say that the company’s opportunities in Oman had been improved as a result of the partnership, which has allowed the company to break free of the “traditional” approach.

“Buckzy has opened cross-border payments for us in Oman, since before this partnership, we were connected to a traditional model of corresponding banking relations.”

He added that the collaboration would act as a “game-changer” for the company.

“The single connectivity offering Buckzy provides allows Unimoni to make cross-border payments in real-time, this is a game-changer for us as an organization.”

As well as being a cross-border payments network, Buckzy is also an “embedded finance platform enabler”, he explained.

It helps firms to make cross-border payments through its global proprietary settlement network.

Pailo also said that the new move would help the firm meet customer needs.

“Buckzy’s real-time payment solutions enable Unimoni to deliver payments instantaneously, this is a service that customers have been demanding for years, and now we can deliver,” he explained.
