Tranglo, a company in the fast money transfer space, has revealed in a press statement that it will be offering services in the United Arab Emirates payments corridor.

The firm has built a point of integration with the country’s banking system, allowing its customers to make transfers that are seamless and simple.

There are also some payment security methods in place for people to use, including a protocol for establishing the payee’s details by comparing them to identification such as their Emirates ID, passport or GCC national ID.

The payout system, which is known as ‘direct to bank’, will be on offer around the clock, seven days a week.

“In 2013, we helped Etisalat launch the UAE’s first international airtime transfer, benefiting millions of people,” said Jacky Lee, the firm’s CEO.

“Today, our latest payment corridor will benefit many more seeking to remit funds to the country,” he explained.

“After months of fine-tuning our API connection and interbank switching protocols, we are confident that our cross-border business partners can now offer unbeatable value to their customers.”

The company also used the press statement to share more details about the Tranglo Connect service.

“Tranglo helps financial institutions and businesses pay globally through Tranglo Connect, its proprietary cross-border payments solution,” it said.

“It integrates payout and partner services seamlessly, unifying the end-to-end payment process with direct API access. With Tranglo Connect, companies can immediately make payments to over 25 countries reliably and securely.”
