Thunes, a leading provider of fast money transfer services, has confirmed that it will join forces with Saudi Arabian financial technology firm Enjaz Payment Services.
Enjaz, which is licensed by the Saudi Central Bank, has hundreds of self-service locations, as well as a large number of point-of-sale terminals.
The new arrangement will see clients able to carry out cash transfers using over 150 Enjaz outlets in more than 60 cities.
Enjaz has a scalable digital infrastructure that also includes the Enjaz App. It also has links with a number of correspondent banks across the globe, and has a contact centre that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Khalid Al Zain, the firm’s CEO, pointed out that it will permit clients to transfer cash on a real-time basis.
“We are excited to see this collaboration go live, allowing customers to send money to any part of the world instantly and efficiently,” he said.
“In pursuit of our shared goal to provide a frictionless experience when moving money globally, we are committed to our customers in delivering the most innovative technology-led financial solutions.”
