One of Nigeria's leading financial institutions is offering its international money transfer customers a host of benefits and rewards in a recently announced promotion.
Skye Bank aims to reward loyal customers who regularly use any one of a number of the bank's remittance partners to send and receive cross-border payments with gifts and prizes during the promotional period, which runs through September 30th, 2018.
According to Skye Bank officials, the goal of the program is to encourage an increase in transactional volumes on its most popular money transfer services, including Western Union, MoneyGram, Transfast, Small World and RIA. The bank also hopes to improve rates of repeat and regular business on the platforms.
Skye Bank's Ndubuisi Osakwe, head of the product and innovation group, explained how the promotion works: "Customers who receive their Western Union, MoneyGram, Transfast, Small World or RIA money transfers from any of our branches nationwide, would win instant prizes...The promo is aimed at rewarding loyal customers of our bank who receive cash or account transfers on any of the money transfer products with Skye Bank."
Users qualify for instant gifts with every money transfer, but those who receive more than N200,000 ($654 USD) will receive a premium reward.
Osakwe said that prizes, rewards and incentives have already been set aside and assured customers that benefits would last the entire duration of the promotional period, which began July 1st.
