  • Worldwide cross-border payments organisation and product loyalty innovations firm Rêv has announced that it will work with Visit Mexico as part of a new push to offer digital products to people travelling.
  • Customers will be able to access a multi-currency debit card as part of the partnership.
  • “As we continue to establish Mexico as the best destination for travelers from around the world, we are excited to collaborate with Rêv on the development of useful products that help us connect with travelers and help make their travel experience better – beginning with making it easier, cheaper and safer for Americans to transact in our country,” said a spokesperson for Visit Mexico.

Rêv Worldwide, Inc., a worldwide cross-border payments organisation and product loyalty innovations firm, has confirmed that it will work with the Mexican tourist board as part of a new strategic partnership.

Rêv said that it will work with the tourist board to offer new digital products.

The two organisations will offer a tool called the X World Wallet, which is a multi-currency debit card and account.

It can be accessed using a smartphone app that is connected to digital Visa cards as well as physical ones.

It also comes with an integrated loyalty programme.

The X World Wallet is now available across Mexico and can assist with a range of travel-specific payments tasks.

These are understood to offer discounts on transport reservations as well as a way to enable global payments.

It allows the two organisations to go some of the way towards providing a collection of products that help boost tourism in the country.

Specifically, it allows customers to enjoy an experience without the high yearly fees associated with credit card payments.

In a statement, a senior figure at Rêv Worldwide said that the company was pleased to have the new arrangement in place.

Bertrand Sosa, who is the president and chief marketing officer of the organisation, said that the tools on offer would allow travellers to make the most of the technology.

“We are proud to be working side by side with Visit Mexico to put our technology to work so that travelers can access relevant and hassle free tools to facilitate their journey,” he said.

For Visit Mexico, meanwhile, the chief executive officer there said that the organisation was positive about creating “useful” products.

Carlos González González said that it would have a tangible impact on the lives of customers around the world.

“As we continue to establish Mexico as the best destination for travellers from around the world, we are excited to collaborate with Rêv on the development of useful products that help us connect with travellers and help make their travel experience better – beginning with making it easier, cheaper and safer for Americans to transact in our country,” he said.
