  • OTT Pay has launched a new platform for international business payments called OTT Pay Checkout.
  • The new service connects merchants with customers and enables the latter to complete purchases via a range of payment methods, including Union Pay and Alipay.
  • The launch follows OTT Pay’s recent expansion into the US.

OTT Pay has launched a new checkout solution called OTT Pay Checkout to help online merchants complete global business transfers via a range of different payment methods.

Just days after bringing its online money transfer service to the US for the first time, OTT Pay now wants to provide a customised and integrated solution for business payments worldwide.

OTT Pay Checkout will simplify the whole process and enable online merchants to receive payments from buyers safely, securely and cost-effectively.

The new platform already supports numerous leading digital wallets, including Alipay, Union Pay and WeChat Pay.

OTT said that more payment options will be added in the coming months.

OTT Pay CEO Stanley Yu stated: “OTT Pay’s new checkout solution provides merchants with an easy and low-maintenance way to accept various payment forms without worrying about the payment method the customer selects.”

Merchants also get peace of mind about security and compliance as the new platform follows stringent payment card industry security standards.

Perhaps more importantly for sales, customers see the most relevant payment method when checking out, which makes it easier to convert engagement into sales.

Some merchants have already been using OTT Pay Checkout to great effect, such as online supermarket Duocun.

Duocun CEO Shawn Chen said that the new platform has been vital to its recent business growth.

The launch of OTT Pay Checkout could entice more merchants based in the US to use the service for the first time.

OTT announced recently that it had expanded into the country via a subsidiary called OTT Pay USA to support online money transfers.
