  • Beyon Money, which provides cross-border payment services, has revealed its partnership with big-name digital finance provider MoneyGram to improve its money transfer offer.
  • There is already a money transfer framework in place at the company, but this will significantly improve it by providing more destinations.
  • “Through strategic partnerships like these, organisations can leverage our core capabilities to quickly add services and scale, while we’re able to increase payment volumes and set ourselves up to create meaningful processing revenue in the years ahead,” said a senior figure at MoneyGram.

Beyon Money, a provider of international money transfer services, has confirmed a new partnership with digital finance provider MoneyGram.

Beyon Money said that it will be expanding its app’s services to offer transfers to more than 200 nations around the world as part of the deal.

At present, the app permits customers to review every transaction they make in one centralised place. Customers can also gain access to information about finances and spending.

There is already a money transfer framework in place at Beyond, however the partnership will give the company a boost and allow its clients to transfer to a lot more places.

In a statement, Alex Holmes, Chair and CEO of MoneyGram, said that the news signifies a boost to partnerships in the fintech world.

“Today’s announcement with Beyon Money marks the latest partnership with a leading fintech seeking to access our global money transfer network,” he said.

“Through strategic partnerships like these, organisations can leverage our core capabilities to quickly add services and scale, while we’re able to increase payment volumes and set ourselves up to create meaningful processing revenue in the years ahead.”

This comes at a good time for MoneyGram – the firm has recently struck up partnerships with several companies across the Middle East, one of the world’s fastest-growing regions for money transfers.

Roberto Mancone, CEO of Beyon Money, meanwhile, said that the company offered “speed” when it came to assisting clients.

“At Beyon Money, we foster speed of execution, ease of access and low costs for our clients. The digital remittance service offered in our super app is highly innovative and allows clients to send money abroad from their Beyon Money wallet or directly from their bank account,” said Mancone in a statement.

It is thought that the launch date for the new service will be later in 2022.
