Nigel was the Global General Manager at FXcompared. Nigel has a background in marketing for businesses and consumers as well working in a variety of online financial services roles.

Rachel has over 10 years’ communications and writing experience, having started her career in financial services where she spent nine years working in various roles. She started out in fund management valuations, before moving into front office roles involving writing investment commentary, RFPs and marketing. Rachel went on to develop her career in marketing, leading marketing communications and digital content teams in technology and construction sectors. In 2017, Rachel set up her company, So What Consulting, where she supports clients in their marketing requirements, from social media, to content creation and digital marketing.

Sorrel is a new addition to the writing team at FXcompared. A resident of Brooklyn, she is married to an English expat and is very familiar with the processes and challenges of transferring money internationally. As such, she is excited to be writing for FXcompared and hopes she can help more consumers in their search for the best solutions to money transfer.

Jonathan is an economist has over eight years experience in economic and market research. Jonathan’s current passion is to understand the trends and data that are part of the global money transfer market. Jonathan was most recently Emerging Markets Economist at The Economist Intelligence Unit. He studied Politics and Modern History at the University of Manchester and has an MA in International Relations from King’s College, London.
