Currencies Direct are proud to announce that since the 1st November they are now the official currency provider to The RPA.
Who is The RPA?
The RPA is the representative body and collective voice of professional rugby players in England.
Originally called The Professional Rugby Players’ Association (PRA) it was founded in 1998 to look after the interests of all professional players, from Academy players to the superstars of the international game.
The Association was renamed The Rugby Players’ Association (RPA) in October 2009, to reflect our expansion and increase in membership to include semi-professional and retired players as well as full time professionals.
The RPA is a not-for-profit registered trade union
With the growing number of overseas players and coaching staff in the UK and with more and more UK players playing for clubs around the world we have a great opportunity to offer these players an important service and cost savings on all their currency needs and transfers.
We look forward to working closely with The RPA to get our message out to all the clubs and players in the UK and overseas.
“Working with Currencies Direct makes perfect sense, due to today’s global game of rugby. We have players from around the world working and playing in the UK, as well as more and more players from the UK leaving to play overseas. Currencies Direct offers the personal and professional fee free service that can help players with their money transfers overseas either in or out of the UK. We are confident Currencies Direct will provide an excellent service to all members of The RPA for their Currency needs, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship.” Alex Anderson Commercial Manager, The RPA
